The founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zooba Restaurants Group (Chris Khalifa) seeks to present Egyptian food internationally, and to open branches and restaurants for Egyptian food abroad. Indeed, a branch of the restaurant was opened in New York City, USA. It was the first branch of the Zooba chain of restaurants in the Zamalek area in 2012, and the restaurant met with great success and its branches spread in many areas
