Al-Taybeen Confectioners or Ibn Al-Tayyib is considered one of the oldest pastry shops in the Bahari and Customs area since 1913. The shop is famous for its old oriental sweets such as the plain basbousa, nuts, harissa, baklava, knafeh, pastries, in addition to the types of gateaux made using municipal ghee.
