User Agreement

1. Acceptance of terms

By using mat3am.net (the "Platform"), whether as a visitor searching for restaurants or a restaurant owner managing a listing, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Platform.

2. Who can use the Platform

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or claim a restaurant. Browsing restaurants doesn't require an account. Information you provide at registration (name, email) must be accurate.

3. User accounts

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for any activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Claiming and managing a restaurant listing

A genuine restaurant owner can claim their listing and manage it - description, photos, working hours, menus, and offers. Claims are approved instantly on a trust basis, but we reserve the right to verify or revoke any claim later found to be inaccurate. Edits to an already-published restaurant go through review before appearing publicly, to protect the accuracy of what everyone else sees.

5. Content you submit

When you upload content (text, photos, restaurant data), you grant mat3am.net a non-exclusive license to display that content on the Platform and promote it in service of the directory's purpose. You remain responsible for the accuracy and legality of what you submit, and you represent that you have the right to share it.

6. Prohibited use

• Submitting false or misleading information about a restaurant.
• Claiming ownership of a restaurant you don't own or represent.
• Attempting unauthorized access to the system or other users' data.
• Using the Platform for any unlawful or abusive purpose.

7. Disclaimer

The Platform is provided "as is." Restaurant details (working hours, prices, offers) are supplied by restaurant owners or gathered from public sources, and may not always be accurate - confirm directly with the restaurant before visiting when it matters.

8. Limitation of liability

mat3am.net isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will change; continued use of the Platform after an update means you accept it.

10. Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction to be confirmed with legal counsel as part of the required legal review of this document.
